How to Write Landing Page Copy in 30 Minutes

A no-nonsense formula for writing headlines, subheads, and CTAs fast—without the fluff.

You don't need to be a copywriter to write copy that converts. You just need a structure that forces clarity. Here's the formula I use for every landing page I build.

Start with one sentence: what does the user get? That's your headline. Then list exactly three benefits—one per bullet. No adjectives, just outcomes. The subheadline should support the headline, not repeat it. Finally, your CTA should say what happens when they click. 'Get instant access' beats 'Submit' every time.

Don't overthink it. Fill in the blanks, read it aloud, trim the fat. If you can say it in fewer words, do. Your visitors are skimming, not reading. Make every word earn its place.
